We’ve all been there: It’s the morning. You’re cozy in bed.

We’ve all been there: It’s the morning. You’re cozy in bed. Your alarm blares. You reach over to grab your phone so you can turn the alarm off. And immediately after you do so, you check your emais… then the weather…news(mostly negative) and the next thing you know, you’ve spent 10 minutes scrolling through life of others…everything you missed while you were asleep.… You know what? That’s not right for your body and mind. Have you ever give a thought to what effect checking your phone first thing in the morning might be having on you — on your brain, on your body, on your mindset for the day? It’s easy to fall to this game, but it’s a reason of feeling stress and anxiety during the day. Namely, doing so kicks you into alertness.. I had the same problem and I decided to change it. The first thing you can do for your mental wellness is to see the sunlight and breathe the fresh air. Then taking care about your body, get a shower, wash your teeth, nourish your skin all with positive thoughts about yourself and about your upcoming day. Then thinking about good nutrition of your body, I personally start with taking a vitamins and healthy breakfast or I am working out before. Sometimes I listen to positive affirmations during my morning. The phone is coming after all this when I feel empowered and nothing can change my mood, it’s just my choice what I read, what I give my energy to. I feel so much better now.
